PicMonkey CollageThere are many times when I am making a recipe and it calls for cooked chicken.  For years, I could never seem to cook chicken properly (to taste good) until I came across this tip.  I found the tip when I made this AMAZING Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo recipe

Here are the steps to making moist, cooked chicken:

Step 1:  Make sure your skinless chicken breast is defrosted.

Step 2:  Place a skinless breast in a ziplock bag and place on top of a cutting board. Make sure to close the bag.

Step 3:  Pound the chicken breast flat.

Step 4:  This would be a good time to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. 

Step 5:  Season the chicken (I usually use Tony Chachere’s).

Step 6:  On medium heat, use olive oil and sear the chicken for 3 1/2 minutes on one side and 1 1/2 minutes on the other side. 

Step 8:  Place on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. 11-12 minutes seems just right if the chicken is not that large.  You have to gauge depending on the size.
