An Author That Won’t Let You Down

jojomoyes6bksI have recently come to the conclusion that one of my favorite authors is JoJo Moyes.  I came to this conclusion after I read one of her recent books, The Girl You Left Behind. 51W8uiY4+6L._SX324_BO1,204,203,200_I read this book after it was selected as our neighborhood’s book pick.  You know a book is good when it makes the rounds of most people’s book club lists! It did not disappoint and I had a hard time putting it down.  The book is set in two parts, with the first part being set in France during WW1, and the later part being set one hundred years later in present day. 15507958A few months later Christa told me about another really good book called Me Before You. Once I realized it was written by the same author as The Girl You Left Behind, I was interested. 9780525426592_custom-771e68183dad310e9eff4577f588179e46f0421a-s300-c85After reading Me Before You, I was hooked.  I was officially a JoJo Moyes fan.  I decided to read another of her books (One Plus One) and then another (The Ship of Brides).  What I was most impressed by this author is that all of her books were really good!  Sometimes you find authors who are hit and miss, but not this author. I was excited to read the sequel of Me Before You (After You) because it gave you more closure from a previous novel.  20949430Silver Bay was the most recent JoJo Moyes book that I have read.  Once again, I was not disappointed!8275-fitandcrop-484x305So if you are looking for a good read, I highly recommend you picking up any of JoJo Moyes’ books.  She is a British Romance Novelist who has won several literary awards.

My question for you, when I run out of her books, who should I read next?

My all time favorite is Karen Kingsbury! She writes series but all her books can stand alone.

Some of my favorites are Sandra Brown, Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum series), Jan Karon (Mitford series) and Liane Moriarty. I’ve read Me Before You and I couldn’t put it down. Looking forward to reading After You.
