I have to admit that I have not been glued to the TV for a particular show in years. Brad and I like to find a show that we both enjoy so we can watch it together on the night it airs. We started watching The Making of A Murder and he refused to finish it because he hated it so much. I finished it and wish that I could have those hours of my life back. It was one of the most disturbing things I have watched. For those who have watched it, I think you can agree that it was a complete train wreck. (My opinion: I think he killed that girl and the police planted evidence to ensure that there was an air tight prosecution…which was idiotic.)
Anyway, back to Broadchurch
I love shows like Dateline, 48 Hours Mystery, and the ID Channel so this show was definitely for me. I think I should have been a detective instead of a teacher
There are two seasons of Broadchurch on Netflix. The series is based on an eleven year old boy who is murdered in a seaside village in England . The first series revolves around trying to figure out who the murderer is. The first episode will hook you. I was in the gym watching it on my phone and started crying. Once I watched the first episode, I was hooked. I had Brad watch it and he was also hooked.
This became our shared show to watch. The only problem is that we would binge watch it when he got home from work after the kids went to bed (I don’t think it is appropriate for kids to watch) and we would end up going to bed really late. We got through the first season in less than a week. We were so addicted that we got through the second season in three nights.
We are sad that we are finished with it and have to wait for the third season to come out. Some of our friends and family have also watched it and many are hooked too.
My question for you is this: What show can we watch now that will be equally as good?
